Traci Walter

From my home studio on the Salt Marsh, inspiration surrounds me and influences my art. After many years as a painter, I found my passion for throwing clay on the wheel, using my hands to produce a form that expresses beauty and purpose. I have come full circle with my art, combining drawing, carving, sculpting, and painting techniques learned throughout my lifetime on my wheel-thrown and hand-built pieces, designed as functional, food safe, and for everyday use. Clay has become my medium and canvas.
