
Membership Qualifications
Membership shall be composed of individuals who produce art and individuals and organizations who are interested in furthering the general aims of the Association. Although membership is open to everyone, exhibiting members must be juried in by a BAA committee.

Our Membership Levels
Individual Membership
Individual members are individuals who produce art and individuals who are interested in
furthering the general aims of the Association.
Patron Memberships
A patron member is an individual who produces art or who is interested in furthering the general
aims of the Association and who wishes to support the Association financially.
Patron Memberships—Supporting (donations of $150+) and Benefactor (donations of $500+).
Family Membership
Family members are two or more individual members of a family who produce art and/or are
interested in furthering the general aims of the Association.
Corporate Membership
A corporate member is an organization interested in furthering the general aims of the Association and contributes $1000+.
Student Membership
A student member is enrolled in grades 9 through 12 or in an institution of higher education.
Honorary Membership
Honorary Membership may be conferred by the Board for a limited period or for life in recognition of distinguished or unusual service or accomplishment. Honorary membership requires no payment.

Copyright clause:
All artwork submitted to be exhibited at any BAA function must be original in concept and execution. Art work must not be a copy, in part or wholly, from any published work, or privately or publicly shown work. All work is to be original and completed by the artist alone. Original art must comply with all local, State, National and International intellectual copyright and print laws as applicable but not limited to. The artist must own the rights to their work in their entirety.

Indemnity clause:
I have read and understand all the guidelines in this membership agreement and will abide by the current rules and procedures and by signing this form below I attest to meeting the above requirements to exhibit with the Gallery or any associated satellite or show and further hold harmless and indemnify the Beaufort Art Association (the Gallery) from any action arising from any breach on the below signer's part but not limited to claims, damages, attorney fees and associated court costs.
Artists who fail to follow the copyright clause are subject to forfeiting membership.
