Someone asked me once about how my jewelry making journey began…
When I was a very young girl, an eye condition required me to wear an eye patch and do regular hand-eye coordination therapy. The therapy was to work on a bead loom with seed beads for a half hour daily. I believe that my early experience with these seed beads started me down the path of jewelry design – a journey which continues full steam (and is still therapeutic) all these decades later.

My next major jewelry making encounter was in Atlanta, Georgia in 1992 when I stumbled upon my first bead and jewelry component supply shop. With the owner’s help, I designed my first piece (a necklace) and have continued to design and handcraft jewelry ever since.
Interest and my range of techniques have varied over time. Techniques I have mastered include: Form folding copper metal, Wire wrapping, Stringing, Enamel work, Chain mail, Precious metal clay work and Polymer clay. My mission is to make jewelry pieces that bring joy, color and unique style to the owner!
