Lucinda Mitchell

I was born into a long lineage of artists. My parents were instrumental in forming an artist colony in upstate NY. I learned a lot about art and painting from each parent. Later on I studied at the Art Institute of Philadelphia for two years. That was the extent of my early Art training. I went on to become a psychologist and held a private practice thirty years. When I later retired I picked up a paint brush and started a whole new experience for which I now have a strong passion. I am a colorist, intuitive/abstract painter using acrylic and other mediums. Art has become my new favorite endeavor.
