Kristie has been painting with acrylics for over three decades, but only began painting on canvas during the covid epidemic.
Her interest in Art began in childhood and continued during high school at Beaufort High where she won the Ceramics Award and Arts in the Park for a pencil drawing.
Thirty-five years and five kids later, she is painting and working with clay in her sunny Lowcountry studio.
Along the way she earned an Early Childhood Education degree from USC Aiken, taught in the public schools for several years, and continues to homeschool
She is a daughter of the King.
