“ Elegance with an edge.” Wire is like Thread that can be Manipulated into shapes. These shapes may then be adorned with precious or semi precious stones, including pearls. I use both gold fill and Sterling silver and enameled metal over a copper core.
As Portia Mansfield, said, “ It’s divine inspiration.” That has been my motto, and I draw on that saying to inspire my work to be freeform with simplicity and elegance
I have a background and art as well as having studied metal Smithing, pottery, architectural, rendering and figure drawing. This background gives me a deep understanding of line, balance, and color, which I incorporate in my work.
