Gina Sismilich

I have a lifelong passion for creating. I moved to the Lowcountry several years ago from the NYC area and started exploring mixed media painting. I’ve taken numerous live classes and studied under Nicholas Wilton who has an online mentoring program. I love to paint the critters we share our world with.

I have collectors all over the U.S. and in Canada. Painting is as necessary to me a breathing. My studio Is the place to leave the world behind and just draw, collage and sling paint. My style tends to be somewhat loose and abstracted. I paint my feeling about what I see rather than an exact copy. My art is always evolving and I love that. Art making is a big part of my life journey.
