Having a professional background in engineering, I have always been interested in design, ergonomics and functionality of products. I like unique, quality, handmade items. Woodworking has always been a great outlet for both the creative and active sides of my brain and I began designing and making wood, cutting and charcuterie boards in un-dyed, colorful, natural woods, like Padauk, Purple Heart, Canary to name a few. All of our boards are made from these kiln-dried woods that go into each of our boards from the process of milling, to glue-up, shaping, sanding and finishing. They are finished with our proprietary food safe mineral oil and bees wax mix. This brings out the natural rich colors of the wood and offers that food-safe protection. All Salt Air Woodworks boards are food-safe and will service you for years to come.
