Frank Gorman

Born in Chicago, he attended the University of Illinois and studied abroad in France. He has lived/worked as a commercial architect in over 35 states and 20 countries. Now retired, he is an artist/painter living in South Carolina. He began painting in 1964 and has painted over 240 canvases in acrylics and oils since 2020, selling over 100 paintings. He regularly visits local beaches and low country waterways, searching for inspiring landscape perspectives.

He has been Featured Artist in four shows, has won awards from the Beaufort Art Association and Light Space & Time International Art Gallery. He is former President of the Beaufort Art Association, and shows his work in galleries, businesses, state parks, restaurants, and museum gift shops in the Beaufort/Savannah SC area.
