I work in oil on board, creating landscapes that move between abstraction and Impressionism.

My paintings are grounded in observation of the natural world with an emphasis on structure and composition.

I am particularly drawn to strong vertical and horizontal elements - tree lines, horizons and shifts between land and sky - which provide a framework for each piece.

Color is central to my process. Rather than replicating the scene exactly, I explore variations in hue, value and temperature to reflect the visual and atmospheric conditions of the place and time.

Layered brushwork with use of palette knife allows the surface to develop gradually, balancing representation with abstraction.

My work focuses on simplicity and organizing natural forms to create clarity, balance and visual impact while
maintaining a connection to the landscape.
