The Beaufort Art Association Gallery opened in the spring of 2002 and displays the works of almost 100 exhibiting members. In April 2011 the Association’s Gallery moved to 913 Bay Street, in the heart of Beaufort’s downtown arts district. For over 10 years BAA Gallery has been an integral part of the local art scene, showcasing the diverse talents of local artists in a town voted as one of the top ten small art towns in the country.
Every two months, the Gallery presents the work of a different featured artist and changes over the art exhibited by members (See Artist Biographies).
All artwork displayed is offered for sale, with a percentage of the proceeds supporting and benefiting BAA. Works offered range from original fine art: oil, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, and photography; to pottery, jewelry, woodworking, and fiber arts. Beaufort Art Association Gallery also has a wide selection of limited edition prints, reproductions and note cards. Within the gallery visit the “Boutique” for smaller works of original art and fine crafts. If you decide to purchase an item you saw at the BAA Gallery, or at one of our Satellites, please call us at (843)521-4444 or email us by clicking the email icon in the footer of this page.
